International Insect fair in Frankfurt 2005
Box with different and rare Lucanus ssp.
The International Insect fair of the Apollo e.V. Association was held on 5/6 of November 2005 in Frankfurt. In comparison to last year, there were less lifestock dealers and more deadstock was offered. Some Lucanidae species which are very rare were offered, such as Lucanus brivoi (Paratypes), Lucanus laetus (black form), Lucanus fortunei (mandibles deformed), Lucanus adelmae, Pseudolucanus davidis, Cetonischema speciosa cyanochlora and many more. There were no new species of beetle offered, compared to last year. Maybe interesting to mention, that Phalcrognathus muelleri larvae were frequently offered, same as Mecynorrhina ugandensis, which were extraordinary cheap.
I attached all the Pics I made as links, otherwise loading might take too long.
I hope you enjoyed reading this short list, any questions, please feel free to ask: Benjamin Harink
