Distribution:
Zaire
Breeding hints:
Breeding is similar to that of other Mecynorhina species. However, this species seems to profit from cooler temperatures, and there are larvae that take 2 years for development, while others just take 12 months. Keeping the larvae on Flake soil works well, and they do profit from an addition of Gammarus or other protein additives.
