Breeding hints:
Breeding of Megasoma typhon prandii is quite straightforward. Pretty much like you would breed any Megasoma species. What I find beneficial is to keep larvae together. They do like Black Soil, and can also be kept very well on leaf litter, white rotten wood and a bit of flake soil. The key challenge in Megasoma lies in the fact that they take a long time to develop 2-3 years to complete their lifecycle. Megasoma typhon prandii is my favorite subspecies because of the long cephalic horn of the male, which is much more elongated than on M. typhon typhon (formerly known as M. gyas porioni)
