When this species was rediscovered a few years back it caused a wave of amazement. Aegus currani is one of the largest Aegus species and looks quite amazing. From what I heard, the breeding seems to be a bit more complicated than the average Aegus, but would need further information regarding this. This species is regularly bred by Japanese hobbyists.
