Breeding hints:
To me this is one of the most beautiful European Cetonidae.
I have no breeding experiences with this Cetonischema speciosa jousselini. I was told that the breeding is the same as for C. aeruginosa, e.g. wood is a very important ingredient in the larvae rearing substrate. A hibernation during the pupation stage would definitly be helpful if you plan to breed them through many generations. If you have first hand experience and want to share your information, I would be very grateful.

Well,In my own experiences, this specie is quite easy to keep and breed if you provide the right environment.
They are not very strict with temperature, they can grow well between 10 and 27 degrees. After all, the temperature fluctuation in Central Asia is quite large throughout the year.
At the same time, their humidity requirements are not very strict, too. They seemed to grow better in slightly lower humidity.
As for food, they have little interest in humus. They prefer fine-grained fermented wood litter.
Not hard!
I do agree with you, and would add that they also need a hibernation, either as L3, or freshly hatched beetles.
Cheers
Ben
