Breeding hints:
Cotinis nitida would be a rather easy to breed species if it weren’t for pupation. The pupa are extremely sensitive and even a slight movement might cause the larva to leave the pupal cell. It will not build another one and die. It is advisable to separate L3 larvae into 1-2 liter boxes and put them in a very quiet place, and only disturb them after the beetles have hatched. Good luck.
