Lucanus cervus (tauricus?)

Distribution:

Ukraine. I am not sure about the status of this subspecies. The label mentions it as L. c. tauricus, but I guess it is Lucanus cervus cervus.

Breeding hints:

• Temperatures below 20 degrees
• Eggs are laid near to wood pieces into soil or similar fine materials, e.g. sawdust
