Breeding hints:

A few years back quite a few hobbyists were keeping Odontolabis femoralis femoralis. However, few succeeded in breeding this species. I am not aware of detailed reports of the successful breeding of O. femoralis, but would guess that someone managed to breed these. If you have, please share your experiences. Thanks a lot in advance

Contrary to the above, Odontolabis normally make for a good beginners choice. Of course there are some difficult to breed species, but the major challenge in breeding Odontolabis normally lays in achieving telodont males rather than just reproducing the species.
