Breeding hints:
Prosopocoilus giraffa and its many subspecies have been bred by hobbyists around the globe. This is not surprising, considering that Prosopocoilus giraffa is among the few Lucanidae that can grow over 10 cm in size. According to some sources it might well be the largest of all Lucanidae. My friend Kay the Guru has written a very detailed breeding report that leaves no questions open and published it on this website.
