Prosopocoilus inclinatus is a very common species in Japan and very easy to breed. Eggs are laid into the substrat or soft white rotten wood pieces on top of the substrat. I managed to get more eggs when the substrat was quite wet. Larvae can be raised without problems. Prosopocoilus inclinatus makes for a good beginners species.
